A contract arises when we send a written order confirmation to the email you supplied. Guest checkout remains available; create an optional account if you want centralised history. We may refuse fraudulent patterns, export control hits, or orders breaching our internal ethics screen on destination entities.
Pricing, currency, and VAT
Listed amounts default to NOK inclusive of Norwegian VAT for domestic destinations unless we expressly flag net prices for verified B2B entities with valid VAT IDs. Card charges may settle in your bank’s currency at their conversion rate; we do not control those spreads.
Shipping, insurance, and passing of risk
Risk transfers when the carrier gains possession unless local mandatory law shifts that moment earlier for consumers. Insurance for high-volume wholesale lanes is negotiated separately; retail parcels rely on carrier limited liability plus our goodwill refund process described elsewhere.

Return-to-sender events restart the order only after we confirm address corrections.

You are importer of record when ordering outside Norway and must obey customs declarations.
Supplement nature and compliance layering
Products are food supplements, not medicinal goods. EU Register of health claims constraints apply to authorised statements. US-facing disclaimers may appear for parallel buyers but they do not redefine Norwegian classification. You read labels before consumption and consult professionals when combining with prescriptions.
Marketing, advertising, and Norwegian consumer law
We aim to comply with the Norwegian Marketing Control Act (markedsføringsloven), which prohibits misleading commercial practices, including false or aggressive claims about health or price. Food supplements must not be marketed as medicines. Health-related content on this site and in campaigns is limited to what is allowed for kosttilskudd under EU and Norwegian law, including Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006 where relevant. Intellectual property licensing
You receive a limited, revocable licence to download page assets for personal, non-commercial reference. Any other copying—including automated scraping of ingredient tables—requires written consent. Velio reserves the right to enforce trademarks against confusingly similar logos in adjacent wellness categories.
Acceptable use and security
No probing for vulnerabilities beyond responsible disclosure channels we publish. No harvesting of customer reviews to seed competitor sites. No transmission of malware through file upload widgets if we enable them during beta. Violations may trigger IP bans and statutory reporting.
Limitation and carve-outs
To the fullest extent compatible with Forbrukerkjøpsloven and parallel statutes, we cap direct damages at the net price of the affected order segment over the past six months except where wilful misconduct applies. Consequential damages are excluded unless such exclusion is void. Food safety liabilities follow product liability directives where mandatory fields apply.
Force majeure
Events beyond reasonable control—extreme weather, general strikes, embargo changes—suspend performance for the duration without penalty. You may cancel outstanding pre-orders if delay exceeds thirty days unless you opt in to waitlisting.
Dispute resolution venues
Initial escalation goes through support email. Consumers may invoke the European ODR platform or Norwegian mediation bodies. Business purchasers consent to Oslo district court jurisdiction subject to irreconcilable mandatory consumer protections.
